Costs

Our fees for the formation (public deed, Articles, authentication and application with the Commercial Register) are based on the notaries' fee-ordinance and are calculated on the basis of the capital of the foundation. With us, the incorporation of a Ltd with a capital of up to CHF 200,000 costs around CHF 1,200 plus VAT and plus the fees of the Commercial Register and of the Surveillance Authority.

Domicile

Your foundation needs a physical address in Switzerland. If the foundation has no owned or rented facilities, please indicate "c/o" + name of the domicile holder.

Purpose of the foundation

Swiss law does not require a detailed list of individual activities. A short general description is sufficient.

Supervisory Authority

The foundation is subject either to cantonal or federal supervision. The Federal Supervisory Authority for Foundations is responsible for supra-cantonal and also international activities.

Auditors

Foundations are obliged to appoint an auditor. The Foundation may be exempted from auditing by the supervisory authority if, during two consecutive financial years, the balance sheet total is less than CHF 200,000 and the Foundation does not publicly solicit donations or other grants and the audit is not necessary for a reliable assessment of the Foundation's assets and earnings.

Please indicate per founder: Name, address (for companies registered office / for private persons address of residence) and initial contribution. Once we have read your message, we will contact you and ask you to send us copies of the founder's passports.

Board Member(s)

Please indicate per board member: Name, address of residence and signatory power (e.g. sole signature, joint signature at two). At least a member of the board with sole signature power (or two members with joint signature power at two) should be Swiss resident. You should at least appoint three members. Please let us know who is chairman. Once we have read your message, we will contact you and ask you to send us copies of the member's passports.
